Just came back from Kallang Leisure Park, it is late but I'm not tired.
Oh. My. God. The movie Avatar was outstanding.
In fact, it was the BEST movie I've ever watched in my whole life.
Without realising it, I was holding my breath, laughing or crying throughout the movie.
It totally didn't feel like 3 hours had passed.
I was deeply inspired by the movie.
Now I feel myself becoming stronger, and more determined to fulfill my dream.

Here's my dream:
Since I was a primary school kid, I want to be a geographer.
The kind that study everything on Earth-- The trees, the creatures, the animals, the landscapes...
They are simply amazing.
And I want to protect them.
Yes, I would give all I have to protect them.
I know our Earth may be eventually destroyed by the human race.
I know it's hard, for the humans to live on without affecting the environment.
I know I am just one person. Perhaps I can't do much.

BUT at least, I want to slow this thing down.
I want to make a difference.
I want to do my best to save the Earth, our one and only home.
I want to contribute in whatever ways I can.
I'll give whatever I've got, no matter how insignificant this effort may be.
As long as I know I have done my best, I'll be content and happy.
In other words, I feel that I have this responsibility.
I've got to DO SOMETHING.

Hey, open your eyes...
These disasters... Earthquakes, floods, hurricanes... The abnormal and extreme weather which is happening everywhere around us...
They are not coincidences.
They are warnings.
We have to take action NOW, before it's too late.

That's what I always told myself when I am sick of studying...
I must work hard, enter a good university, and become an excellent geographer one day.
There's a voice in my head saying: Hey, the world needs me.

Yes, that is my dream, that will always be my motivation to work hard.
I know I can do this.
I know I will.

One day, I want to be our Earth's Avatar--the protector.
